At the end of January, we prayerfully made the decision to adopt in Ethiopia.
For those who have been around here for the past 18 months,
you know the journey to this point has had many peaks and valleys.
We continue to learn to trust God for His direction and timing
for all that is to come in the road to adopting in Ethiopia.
Paperwork, more fingerprinting, and many updates to our documents followed.
All of these complied our "dossier" ready to be submitted to our agency...
and delivered by FedEx to Ethiopia in mid-June.
This week, we received our waiting list number from our agency...
...which means what, truthfully, we are not sure!
Some in our agency have methodically moved closer and closer to #1 over the past few years; others have received "the call" for a referral within days or weeks of going on "the list." Some (like us) are open and approved for older and special needs children. These families find their children through our agency's waiting child list.
